  Granny Smith Apple Tree

Granny Smith Apples ripen August through September needing only 400 chill hours (3 weeks of temperatures below 45 degrees F) to set fruit. The Granny Smith Apple Tree has to be cross pollinated in order to produce apples, a crabapple would be an excellent choice because the pollen shed last for an extended period. The Granny Smith Apple is an excellent apple for eating. Bright green skin with a crisp green texture, perhaps the best adapted apple throughout Georgia's fruit belt.

Cant wait to taste them January 15, 2016
Reviewer: Josef McInturff from DEL CITY, OK United States
All my apple trees are doing great one year later. I killed one due to overwatering. One has died from the graft upwards. Now the root donor is growing. I will try to create my own graft with that one this year.
But i am verry pleased. I am aware of your free replacement guarantee but i just wrote those off as a science peoject for myself. :-)
I bought 10 trees total and 8 are doing exceptionally well.
This is great for a first time apple grower in my opinion

Broken Branch April 7, 2015
Reviewer: Hart Pettit from Kosciusko, MS United States
The tree looks great with tiny buds on the 4 limbs, but... one of the limbs was broken nearly all the way thru where it connects to the trunk.  I guess the shipping was a little rougher than expected.  Also, it would have been helpful to have had instructions included for the transplant mix.
