  Elberta Peach Tree

Alternative Views:

Elberta peaches ripen Late July through August and need 800 chill hours (5 weeks of 45 degrees F or below) to set fruit. Planting a different variety near the Elberta will help increase the pollen available during flowering and help increase the fruit quality, but other varieties are not needed to produce peaches. This red peach is one of the most famous peaches in the United States. Hardy, disease resistant fruits of are large and freestone, colored deep golden yellow, blushed a deep red. The Elberta peach, when tree ripened, can be as large as a coffee cup. Peaches can be dried, preserved or made into jelly for consumption months after the initial harvest. The flowering of an Elberta Peach tree can begin in early March after a winter warmup.

Elberta Peach saplngs look great! February 5, 2016
Reviewer: Matthew O'Brien from Lugoff, SC United States
Arrived on-time, stock looked strong, and most importantly, the roots were damp and the folks there pruned back the saplings so that I just put them in the ground... Great service, awesome plants!!

Recent Purchase December 26, 2015
Reviewer: Ronald Henry from Tuscumbia, AL United States
I just recieved my first order ever from Ty Ty. The order was perfect. I knew exactly when I was going to recieve the order so I had time to prepare my site for the peach trees. Every tree was alive and well. Planting instructions were very easy to follow. Within 15 hours of delivery my trees were ready to start their new life in my brand new orchard. Thanks Ty Ty for a perfect transaction.

Reviewer: thomas overton from roanoke, IN United States
I can't say how good it is because I just got it, but the service was very good. The trees I ordered arrived sooner than I expected & in excellent condition. I made a follow-up phone call with a question, & got great help.

Peach sees germination the right tree to buy December 18, 2015
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
I called your Nursery 2 times today. I asked about the germination and cus ser was vague.  My second call was to ask about planting 2 different trees.  Would this help in producing a larger crop?.  I had  several more questions, decided that this young man would probably not be helpful. Before I purchase these trees I need to know some things.I can't rate a tree I haven't  planted.
