  Brazos Blackberry Plant

Alternative Views:

The Brazos Thorny Blackberry bush is an upright bush, originating as a Texas blackberry plant selection.  The Brazos blackberry bushes are erect-growing, meaning that this blackberry plant does not require a trellis to grow on. The Brazos blackberry is sweetest when it is grown in the full sun.   This blackberry ripens in June and tastes sweet with an intense floral aroma and a soft thin skin releases juicy flavors with a jet-black color. The Brazos Blackberry plant is drought resistant a definite advantage in Texas - and heavy bearing, and especially in the other Western States. The Brazos Blackberry plants in June and July continuously produce large juicy berries with a distinctive identifiable flavor that is delicately balanced between the sweet and sour tones, and this classic blackberry bush cultivar originated in Texas in 1959.

The blackberries arrived quickly after the order. The shipment packaging was good and the canes looked normal, although dormant at the moment.

Nice stock February 24, 2014
Reviewer: Leonard Janetzke from Leander, TX United States
Plants arrived quickly and were well packaged.  Looks like they had plenty of root but I'm not sure they got planted right.  some looked like the root should have run parallel to the ground, and some looked more like They should be planted in a deep hole.
If it matters much, I wish they would have included a picture of how to place them in the hole, and how to position the root.
