The stripe in the middle of the leaf of the Bear Grass Yucca is wider than the one in Yucca 'Golden Sword' when planted in full sun; the Bear Grass Yucca needs only occasional watering. The long pointed leaves of the Bear Grass Yucca are gold and green. As the leaves of the Bear Grass Yucca mature, they weep, and in the Summer elongated flower spikes rise from the center with fragrant, white bells covering the tip of the flower stalk. The Bear Grass Yucca produces spectacular flowers. The Bear Grass Yucca has survived minus 10°F temperatures.
