Agave angustifolia Marginata has sword-shaped, hard, stiff leaves that are centered with a creamy white stripe. The leaves grow at right angles with the center of the cluster forming a vibrant and formal roundness that lacks the droopy, downward leaf curl that most agaves display. This plant can be dangerous to children with its thorns and terminal spike and is not recommended for planting in unprotected landscapes where children visit, but the Agave angustifolia Marginata is a superb choice for containerizing.
